In this video Miley Cyrus is objectified through various different camera angles and close up shots. The video is meant to be outrageous and grab the audience (specifically male) attention and therefore shows off Miley Cyrus' body in a seductive way by focusing on provocative areas of her body. Through her performance Miley Cyrus also arouses the male audiences attention, by licking a sledgehammer. The clothes she wears are seductive and there are moments in the video where she is nude, however through the camerawork the she is still partially covered up.
